On the afternoon of November 22, the Vietnamese national team had their fourth training session at the Thai - Japanese stadium. With only two days left before the team faces Myanmar, the intensity of training has decreased. Coach Phan Thanh Hưng has focused on sharpening the attacking skills of the forwards as scoring goals is currently the team's main concern. However, Coach Hưng emphasized that this is not a weakness unique to Vietnam but a common issue among teams in the region.
During the recent training sessions in Bangkok, the Vietnamese team has not been plagued by the "ghost" of injuries. This has allowed Coach Phan Thanh Hưng to easily build the main lineup for the team. The starting lineup against Myanmar on November 24 is likely to remain unchanged from the VFF Cup in Ho Chi Minh City and the recent friendly match against Indonesia at My Dinh Stadium. The most notable change is in the midfield, with Phan Thanh Hưng making way for Tấn Tài. Midfielder Tấn Tài from Khánh Hòa FC has fully recovered from injury and is ready to play. Tấn Tài himself has confirmed his readiness for the match against Myanmar.

Also during the training session on November 22, Coach Phan Thanh Hưng allowed Thai media access to the filming ground and gave interviews after a "closed-door" day. Speaking to FBS Television, Coach Hưng said that the Vietnamese national team is prepared to enter the AFF Cup competition. "In Southeast Asia, Thailand remains the number one opponent and has many advantages in this tournament. However, the Vietnamese team is well-prepared, and the players are in their best form to compete," Coach Hưng said.
Assessing the Myanmar team, Coach Phan Thanh Hưng said they are not an easy opponent, but the Vietnamese team must win to secure a spot in the semi-finals. "This is the debut match for the Vietnamese national team, so I and the players will make every effort to win all 3 points. Myanmar is a tough team, but our coaching staff has studied their strengths and weaknesses thoroughly to come up with a game plan. Moreover, the Vietnamese players are in good form. Everyone is ready for the match against Myanmar," Coach Hưng said.
